old_newbie OP trapper O Joined: Dec 2017 Posts: 258 Idaho	I'm trying out some duckbill earth anchors and would like to attach chain to them. Does anyone have experience making these? The reason I ask is mighty S hooks, light duty S hooks, and chain links don't want to work with the size of hole in the anchor or the thickness of them. Any help is appreciated.Thanks Member NTA, ITA, and USRTA

mainer trapper M Joined: Oct 2015 Posts: 1,076 Maine	I haven't used the duckbills, but if you're using S hooks I'd strongly recommend spot welding the ends closed. I use Wolf Fang earth anchors with a lap link attaching the the chain to the anchor. Sorry, didn't read your post closely enough. You could use a short section of cable to attach the chain to the anchor. Last edited by mainer; 08/13/18 12:38 PM.
