I'm kind of wanting to know all four of my kids are Saved 1st. That might be wrong of me to be greedy like that.

Two of my four have come forward with a profession of faith. One literally broke down in tears because he had lied about it two years ago. Just out of the blue felt guilty and about saying he was saved. Then repented and got saved. I didn't grow up a Christian. So I've never seen a child do that. We don't shove down their throats either because we want their faith to be genuine. To the best our ability anyway. Kind of scared me. I did not feel any real emotional things when I got saved. Just a relief is all I felt. Like a release from being in prison or something. I'm gonna tell ya! There was something going on that night. I felt it! He moved on that boys heart, convicted him, then saved him. Right there in my arms.

I've been shot, stabbed, blown up, had a parachute not open, stared down the wrong end of a loaded rifle. I can explain how I felt in every one of those situations.

When my buddies wife killed her self this week, and left him with 3 babies to raise the thought popped into my head too. I’m so, so sorry for your loss. The two hardest parts of being a Christian for me are:
1. Having loved ones that are not saved
2. Not hurting people that do awful things to other people

If your not a Christian, instead of looking at poor examples of "Christians" look at CHRIST and what he did and said. Because eternity is forever

We live in a fallen world. I too have lost loved ones and had things done to family members but it is easier when I give it all to God and let him take care of it. God is just and he will not forget.

Grew up as a Christian in a Christ based church so I knew we went to heaven or (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) upon death, I am not quite so sure now. If you ask this question in America your going to hear about Jesus and heaven, ask it in Saudi Arabia and you will hear about Allah, ask it in India and you will hear about whatever they believe. I tend to think religion is a good thing especially in a multi cultural society, it is a common thread that binds us together into a cohesive force, as we have become less religious I believe we have become more tribal, instead of Christians we are Republican or Democrat or socialist or Libertarian, eventually our tribalism that is growing daily will cause the U.S to lose global influence.

I do not believe a county based on nihilism can stand against people united in a common cause, because of this we evolved to want to believe in God and a afterlife as those who did bonded with larger groups of like minded people and conquered those who did not, this is also the reason I do not try and persuade people away from their faith or beliefs, I even go to church because I feel that is doing my part. Some feel that if we can abandoned our religions and morals we can evolve to the next stage of human evolution becoming "ubermensch" (super human) I feel if we abandon our religions and morals we will be overtaken by those who do not as our ancestors overtook those who abandoned their religions and morals that bound them to each other.

After saying all that I have still failed to directly answer your question to the best of my belief, and I will always try and fail to answer that question but if you ponder what I have written you will find my answer.

So, here is the philosophical answer....

Everyone person needs to come to terms with 3 questions in their life. Whether they are actively conscious or not of their answers, every one of us has a current answer to all 3, and consequently they control the way we live our lives and the decisions that we make, BUT every one of us may come to point where we re-evaluate our answers, and may modify them or change them.

The 3 questions are:

- Where did I come from?
- Why am I here?
- Where am I going?

None of the questions can be answered without being in harmonious agreement with the other 2 statements. For someone to answer "where am I going (after I die)?", that person needs to evaluate their belief system on "Where did I come from?" and "Why am I here?".

Let's suppose you believe in evolution- big bang, random chances, survival of the fittest, etc. You believe this for whatever reason- science, nothing else better, whatever.

Well, that answers the "where did I come from?", but also answers the "why am I here?"- to propagate your species in the pursuit of great evolution; to get all I can while I'm here; and to leave a legacy. It also answers "where am I going?"- you're going back into the base minerals that you consist of, and you yourself cease to exist upon your last breath.

What about belief in a Supreme Being who specially created me? Would seem obvious that question #2 (why am I here?) can only be answered by an understanding of that Supreme Being, who must have had a reason for putting me here, and without discovering that I am defeating the purpose and intent of said Supreme Being. As well as "where am I going?" Seems that the belief in a Supreme Being who put me here, would have some type of end game. That end game may help me better understand the "why am I here", and certainly confirm my "Where did I come from?"

So in answer to "What do you think happens?", I would have to ask you "Where do you believe that you came from?" and "Why are you here?". When you give me your personal belief on those 2 questions, your answer to question 3 will be obvious.

Bigmeat eternity is just a prayer away. 1. Believe you are a sinner. 2. Believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he came to earth and was crucified to pay for the sins of all who confess their sins to him. 3. Believe that he rose from his tomb to go be with God in heaven. 4. Sincerely pray that God will come into you heart and forgive you for all of you sins and that you want God to help you start living a Godly life as it is described in the bible and you will get to find out all about God and what happens when you get to heaven.

God didn't do this to your family. It's hard to process, and it's hard to understand why evil exists, but it's a mistake to blame God for the devil's deeds. Prayers sent.

If you follow Jesus here on earth he will remember you when you are being judged. I can think of no worse thought than Jesus telling me never knew me and casting me out of heaven into hades where the Bible says there is eternal separation from God. The tricky part for some of us is that we think we have to be a good person of we have to do good things to to get into heaven. The bible is very clear that all you have to do is believe Jesus is the Lord and he died as a sacrifice to pay for your sin. My sin separates me from God but Jesus said he was the sacrifice to pay for my sin and he loves me. All I have to do is accept it and believe it. Today he is my Lord and Savior."
