Just curious where y'all are selling your furs? 1. FHA 2. Groeny 3. Local buyers 4. Etsy/eBay open marketplace 5. Keeping them in the walk-in freezer until coons hit $45.00 average 6. nafa

I'm doing more ice fishing. They can beg for furs, then I might consider trapping again.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

Probably some combination of 2, 3, 5, and 6. Of course number 5 will have nothing to do with 45 buck coon average. It all depends on what happens between now and then.

I sold my first salable catch, a coon in the round, to a local buyer (Oshman & Sons) in 1976. I've stuck with local buyers ever since with a relatively long hiatus between the mid 90s and about 4 years ago. I'll be impressed if anyone here remembers Oshman & Sons.

Traveling buyers here closest business to sell to is 90 miles away! LOL Have some with stops in the area my guy comes right to the house about 3 times a year.
Groeny had a stop not far away they have always been good to deal with in the past, Petska comes to town and Beadle came in the past but not sure if they still do, had a kid buying for someplace in MN also so we get a few coming through.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Where did you sale to Oshmans, Mankato,Mn? or were they broader? They would send out a post card with fur quotes to many rural residents. Of course this was times of fur demand. Many here remember those days! My uncle tripped my gears with those quotes! Were you from Minnesota? Sold to Oshmans for many years and have a large collection of those fur price post cards.
