Pretty sure there is an abundance of coon in all sizes, colors and grades, with the exception of the best colored 3X+ from the golden triangle. If you have to ask where the golden triangle is, you, probably, ain't in it.

Which means our coon will be worth about $5 and down, lol. Got it.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

This years approach is the same as the last two years, wait until about Nov 1st (WI coon opens Oct 20) and hit high ground and non-water areas hard to pick-up more prime and larger coon. Grading has been pretty good for me the last two years doing this and the prices have followed.

I'm hoping to knock the snot out of them. They are starting to be a problem not waiting for price to dictate what needs to be done.

Let's hear what Guy has to say at the WTA rondy in three weeks then I'll plan accordingly. Meanwhile, time to get ready.

Planning on it.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I would predict that fresh, western, select quality, heavy furred, good colored, mid winter coons will be worth 50% more that last year................only problem is, 50% more of very little is still very little. Go get em' fella's! Having fun is sometimes as important as having money, I keep telling myself that every day. Just glad I'm not raising ranch fur. Apologies to all who are (just having a little fun).

see what the fall brings and what the word on the street is for prices. Maybe set late for quality and size but that would be it. Not many sets just a few in good areas.
