Heard from a couple people that there was a change in the allowed use of carcasses taken doing damsge control at the state convention this weekend
I email MDNR permit specialist yesterday for details Got a response already this morning. Said that she had no idea what I was talking about
Any help in this matter appreciated, especially documentation

When I have questions that I can not find answers for about wildlife rules and regs, I email either the executive director or the chief enforcement officer of our wildlife division. That way, the question will get bumped down to the correct person to answer it and I get a written response.
But even before that, I do my own research into the published rules and regs. Hearing it from so and so is worthless.

Sounds like you are still not sure if you have a good answer though. The person writing the permit may not have any idea about the allowed use once the critter is caught.

Current law says we have to bury or incinerate all carcasses
Was told new regulations were just passed last week
Reached out to person that has always provided info and permits from MDNR
Requested on here if anyone has documentation that this change took place
So yes I have current answer, NO CHANGE
But asking if anyone has documents stating otherwise
