Been looking at cage traps with bait boxes in the back and thought why not try it with leg holds. Does anyone have experience with this? I was thinking put bait cage with traps on four sides on drags. Also have heard many ideas on bait. Banty rooster, guinea, call duck among many others. What are your thoughts? I figure you would catch about everything.

In Jurassic park a goat was tethered yo lure in a T-Rex.
I suppose if you were trying to capture a lion one could use a baby pig.

I have seen it done before, and did it when I was a kid. I used a old rooster that crowed all the time. It will catch lots of coon and possums, with a few cats every now and again. Never did catch a coyote that way.

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it. Not looking for efficient or to put out a bunch. I know very well how to go about longlining for numbers. I was just thinking about on logging road by my house and was curious if anyone had any luck doing that and what their experiences were. Thanks
