Need to buy a new battery for my zero turn. Haven't had to buy one for years. What is the best, not the cheapest. I feel like you get what you pay for.

There are only 3-4 battery manufacturers in the whole country. They just put different stickers on .

I like the fully charged ones.

I was buying the Wal-Mart which didn't last long. Bought an Interstate a few years ago and it has lasted.

I put a Wal Mart in my tractor also, and didn't get a year out of it. Their Deep Cycle and RV batteries seem to be much better and we don't have any issues. I have had good luck with the Interstates.

I should go out and look at the battery in our John Deere. It's been in there for 5 years and is still going.

Get a battery tender for the winter and you will get a lot more life out of one I believe the biggest battery killer is sub-zero weather when the charge is low. I had the best 6 pack batteries in my jeep but it had the old analog clock that would drag it down over time and they were toast then.

Either pull into a shed/building and plug it in or pull the battery then keep on a tender until spring and they will last longer that way!

I run the cheapest ones and that allows me to have a spare one handy in the fur shed when needed that's ready to go.

I get 2-3 years from the Napa ones. Some rider/garden tractors will fit a small car battery. That usually get's you a lot better battery.

I've had poor luck with interstates the best battery I have is in my old log skidder it looked old when I bought the skidder in 2007 and will still crank like no tomorrow. It's a red and black optima
