Not to take away from the original post but I will travel to hunt doe's, I just enjoy hunting especially archery and if doe tags are inexpensive and public land is available I am ecstatic to go hunt anterless deer.

There are only a few states that allow the sporting harvest of whitetail deer. I would recommend heading to one of them while you still could. South Carolina opened this morning I believe.

Ky added 6 days of gun season state wide to its deer season. For a total of 16. Some counties already had it. BUT 75 % now allows you to take does with a gun. Some counties are unlimited !!! I think this is a bad decision that we will pay for down the road.

Bow season opened here today not sure why they don't even have their winter weight on yet. Took several kids out for the youth season in the past and I was surprised how light in the rear they are, just boney hips!

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!
