Any one seen it? I really enjoy reading his article/column in the Fur Taker magazine. This DVD sounds like a good one.

Actually he is a very successful control and fur trapper. He also has a good line of lures and baits plus he makes guns. Interesting guy. Just wondered if anyone had seen the DVD.

Tact i thought you were the leading authority on here on coyote trapping, how in the world have you not heard of those traps? lol.
Think he use to sell the jaws so you could make any trap a super duper coyote getter. Been enjoying his column for years, always some little nugget in there you can use if you pay attention. Id buy his dvd without hesitation, based off what he's written im sure it will/would be top notch as well.

Mornin' J, beaver trapping slowing down yet?
Not sure, about time i think it is another bunch of mess pop's up, lol.
Got rabies projects coming up so everything else has to wait while all that is going on. Glad to see summer nearly over, been a tough one!

Sounds like here...think all the farmer's beaver problems are done then a new subdivision starts pushing the beaver down stream and wa la more issues. Been trapping one guys property for 25 years and could never figure out why the beaver issues were non-stop...then found the city crew from the next town over had had a boss that refuses to trap/kill the problem beaver there....he just has his guys open the dams up....yep same creek system. Ran into one guy who said that they have been doing that for thirty years!
Regarding Tom's traps...live market guys love those wide jaws on the CC traps. AND if you haven't tried his lures yet...do so good stuff!

Would have never guessed the motel 6 guy was a trapper. Might not be.. according to the internet the Motel guy is Tom Bodett and the trap guy is Tom Beaudette. And unusual as it may seem there are a few more Tom Beaudettes around the country. Those traps have been on my "want list" for 30 or 40 years and I always wonder why he isn't better known here. DVD is useless to me, I wouldn't give fifteen cents for a bushel of them but if he wrote a book I'd want it.
