For those of you with the ? ? ? ? ? Hippies and vegans don't like REAL milk. They prefer some kind of fake milk made from almonds. It's part of the pussification of America.

I don't drink Milk. Will cook with cream when needed, that's about it. I haven't found the mucous of an animal to be tasty since I came off Momma's nipple. I reckon I'm a pansy because I don't drink milk

A quick google search will show that an average half gallon container of almond milk contains about 30 almonds. The rest is mostly water, maybe some sugar and artificial flavors added. Nasty. A half gallon of Silk brand almond milk is something like $3.90. So you're paying 13 cents per almond, for a couple handfuls of almonds, if you drink the whole half gallon.

I used to love milk but learned the hard way it is bad for inflammation especially sinuses. I get a lot of sinus infections & sinus headaches if I have to much milk or cheddar. So I'm forced to drink almond milk (mainly in protein shakes). My youngest and I used to drink lactose free but over the last year we got numerous batches that made us run to the toilet instantly.
It's a lot better than soy milk

So, aside from the fact that I don't see the the joke, why would anyone that did not like milk invent a substitute? "I hate the taste of this, so I will make something that tastes like this"? Milk is not meant to be part of the adult diet, so they did not invent it out of need; it must be out of self hatred? Maybe they can't chew the nuts and this is a way to eat almonds?
What the heck does "flips a table" even mean? is that like a "bird"?

It means god spent all that effort making 8 animals to give milk, and it just wasnt good enough for SOME people, so he throws a small hissy fit and flips a table in frustration when he realizes they are trying to make it out of nuts when he gave everyone perfectly good animals to make it....
Its like imaginative animation.

So, "flipping a table" is descriptive of impotent rage? God is therefore impotent? Thanks, I think I get it now. Not so haha funny.

If you take everything seriously, then yes, I guess it wouldnt be. For people with an ability to see things through a humorous lens, it is funny. After all, its words, on a web site intended to provide a quick laugh.
Thing is, you can poke fun at other people race, gender, sexual orientation, religion,etc...post a meme making fun of Mohamed on here and most will laugh because it isnt the imaginary person they pray to, and its funny. Make fun of "god" and its not.
I feel like the ability to have a laugh at ones self and not take things so seriously is a good thing.
It certainly helps make serious situations more bearable.
Or, maybe its not funny..

Personally, I took offense to it! You se...I have nuts and don't like the sound of some vegan squeezing them so hard that juice drips out! Frankly, it gives me a belly ache just thinking about it.

Well in that case, wolfdog, apologise for being insensitive!

I like a little milk in scrambled eggs. Don't really buy it very often anymore. No kids at home. Cant remember the last time my wife brought any home. No cream to get real buttermilk either so buy the fake stuff at the grocery store sometimes to make biscuits. Use the rest of the carton for the gravy.
