Pay attention to the tactics being used here and in virtually every other Animal Rights anti-initiative. Using the Federal court system is the front line for the AR movement, and this tactic is increasing because they've been very successful on this front.

They fail more often than not on state by state referendums and through state legislative (democratic) processes because when the people are given the power to decide for themselves what they want or don't want, the Antis lose! So like every other Leftwing social movement, they push their agendas through the Federal court system.

In fact, simply the threat of Federal litigation is enough for state departments of wildlife to buckle under and wreak havoc on our legal right to trap. Ask Maine trappers how we know this. Here's what I received in my inbox Wednesday evening:

The Crow Tribe,apparently the most prominent bunch in this particular case, has the most wildlife free reservation of any I've ever seen. It's beautiful country but they kill everything that moves. Including each other from time to time. So for them to all of a sudden claim they are great defenders of any species of wildlife is pure hypocrisy.

DITTO on this, I lived among them, same thing in Wyoming.

I imagine the Tribes want money of some sort, or think they can get more money. ??
