We have been getting lots of rain, but no flooding. But this got me thinking. What happened to the ground mole when there is flooding for miles in all directions? Even with flooding in small area's do they head for high ground?

They usually will have to retreat to a dryer area or they will be forced to swim to a safe place until conditions improve. If not many will die.
