Went to go pick up more crop oil to mix with my arrow 2ec to spray in the clover alfalfa and chicory, and the local co-op didn’t have any. The guy talked me into buying hi-yield spreader sticker (non-ionic surfactant) stating it was basically the same thing and would work with my herbicide. Me knowing it’s not the same thing bought it anyhow and came home. Got home and the old man went on a tangent about how it’s not “basically” the same thing and won’t work with the herbicide how It needs too. Double read the label to maybe see if it says somewhere in there that it can be used which it doesn’t and just calls for crop oil which is what I typically use. Figured I’d ask the TMAN family will it do what I need it to? Or should I just bite the bullet and order the crop oil.
Also what’s the difference between the three? I have always used crop oil, but recently I have struggled to find crop oil and I’ve only been finding the bean oil which I’m assuming is similar to crop oil and is phasing out the crop oil? Sorry if the question seems dumb. I don’t tend to stray from what I know will work and I have experience using with herbicides but always willing to learn more than I know

In your case I would use the sticker spreader as the label indicates fro non ionic surfactant.

Salesman sell. Its what they are paid to do. If what you want isn't available at the time you want it they will try to sell you a substitute. They employ all kinds of strategies to get you to buy. If your having second thoughts ask for a refund.
Salesmen take classes on techniques to sell. Psycho babblers have devoted their whole careers to selling strategies. Salesman make cops look like amateurs with their mind games.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I assume you are using a grass selective herbicide in food plots? The spreader sticker will work fine. I would have skipped it entirely. Unless you are harvesting for forage. When spraying clethodim it can’t be sprayed without a surfactant ornit doesn’t work.
