My experience with racoon trapping on a structure is pretty limited except for setting the occasional dormer. What is your recommendation for setting these areas?

Find the climb point to the roof and catch it on the ground possibly. Or you may need to frame a platform to hold a cage trap to catch it near the soffit entry point.

Sex it when captured to see if it may possibly have a litter in the soffit or attic eave. If a male it may be a done deal. Do repairs and get paid.

I have had litters all year this year so far. Strange year.

This first. If it doesn't work on the ground. Go to the roof

Just make sure you protect the roof

This is a trap attached to a 48"X24" vinyl sheet ( easy to clean) over a same size piece of osb fir rigidness

Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

Good advice there, protect the roof.
