Yes the over hype gets old real quick. But the ratings mean the company that owns the channel need to have people watching .How many have ever heard of the Great Armistice Day Blizzard of 1940 ? A major blizzard hit the upper mid west that day and over 50 duck hunters died in the marshes that day while duck hunting .They had no way of knowing what was coming and it cost them their lives . Research it there are some amazing stories about some that survived and others that did not.
