Good grief, it's been an agonizing couple of weeks. You can't trust anyone anymore for anything. First I order my headache rack for the truck after the wife broke the back window. That comes and 2/3rds of the mounting hardware is missing! I call and it sounded like the guy didn't believe me
Like I sell headache rack hardware on the black market and I was trying to rip them off or something? Finally, they relent and are shipping me new hardware in 5-7 business days
When a company screws up, they should send it next day. Now that is sitting in the garage, I may hang a plant on it for now. Then I order a MAF sensor for the wife's car. Yup, they send me some sensor that looks like it might fit a semi truck! The thing is twice the size of the one I ordered. I sent that back. Front bumper for my truck is still on a scenic tour of the lower 48 states and I have no idea when it may pass by me so I can snag it.
Now today, I decide I'm going to change the transmission filter in my truck. Simple enough right? ………… Riiiiiigggghhhtttt. I go to 6 different auto parts stores, none have the filter. I live in a farming community, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a F-250 Super Duty. Think anyone would stock this...… NOPE! Finally at the last parts store, they call the other parts store 20 miles away and they have one. Now it's a frick'in QUEST so I decide to go get it but before I leave I get 12 quarts of Mercon LV trans fluid, a funnel and a inch lb clicker torque wrench (I only had a dial). The guy pulls 12 quarts off the shelf while I'm getting everything else and off I go to get this filter. I get back home with my prized "Holy Grail" of a filter park the truck and let it cool for a few hours. Finally, I'm ready and go out to the truck, get all the tools and everything ready. I get the new filter out and the box of trans fluid. I start unpacking the trans fluid, low and behold.... the guy gave me 6 quarts of Mercon LV and SIX QUARTS OF MERCON SP!!!!! &^*%^$#*()%
I mean REALLY! Evidently this dude is so incompetent he can't even pull 12 of the same bottles off the shelf! and to top it off, he overcharged me $1 a quart! Why can't anyone not only preform their job anymore but not even preform the simplest of tasks? Now the truck is all hot again and once again, I have to wait.
I'm not even mentioning the brake pad fiasco two weeks ago!
