Howdy, I'm looking for set pics. Post them if you can.
I'm looking for original sets or other people's sets but I want to take the images and add a text overlay of the set name and features so I can categorize the sets in visual form.
Thanks Ken

Not with a catch just pics of the different sets before a catch. And any set really. I have seen a lot on here about Zaggers pipe dream set, and I have seen the triangle set or compass set talked about.
So what I'm looking for are oics of the sets so I can label them. Here is an example

Lynx/Bobcat Walk Thru Snare Pen: Length 3 ft with snares each end, attraction with lure hung in center of pen and snares hung in all tight spots around pen.
The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Here is the runway toilet set. 2 traps in a trail with bobcat scat and urine on both sides of the trail. Red dots = pans I used a dead branch to make the animal step over the jaws and onto the pans
Similar to the mafia set. I believe I will be making a lot more mafia sets for cats this year.

Here is a blind set on a trail in the woods. The red oval is where the pan is on the MB 550. Notice the very subtle twigs across the trail on either side of the trap. The trap is on a drag that is pre hooked away from the trail. I had two traps on the trail and took 6 coyotes in about 6 weeks, no bait, no lure. I was able to bed the trap back in the same bed after each catch. The 2nd picture shows the trail.
Wolf/Coyote Trail Snare Set: ---Well blended snare ---Natural blockage left side of trail ---Placed subtle limb branch blocking right side of trail and snare
The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Hey wolfy is this an irrigation pipe set? Or is this set like a pipe dream set with a screen an just dirt on top?
Drop a description in your reply and I will make the pic
close. It's a mini portable pocket. Just a 5"section of pipe welded onto a spike. Keeps my bait and lure protected and being of the ground d a little less the airflow work bettr. Trap is on a drag

I watched a bobcat tutorial by Clint Locklear last night that he did at the MS convention recently. He was using this same device on bobcat sets. Pretty neat. I like the idea of a pipe that can keep your bait or lure above the ground.

It's called the Pipemare set. I know zagger has a stamp on the pipe "dream" set and in order for it to be a pipe dream set it needs to be covered with grass or hay. Well this Pipemare set is the nightmare of the pipe dream. Bedded just like normal, blended in. Pipe holds the bait. Enjoy

The "Bobble" Head toy set Using a cable stake to secure the cat foot will keep the yotes busy and they won't be getting that thing out before they get a leg brace. Putting a little of Bro Derrick's super cat in-between the toes and some cat urine and you will have first night action.
I learned this from a couple much wiser men than me. I would have never thought of cat feet as an attraction for yours but I'm pretty green when it come down to it. This will work with many leg bones. I hear cat is best but deer hoofs and fox paws ought to work well too.

I tried the deer leg one year with a cable stake. I never connected with it maybe I just had the set in a bad location. The dirt hole I had with it would get hit first.

Here you go... not sure what to call it. Two MB 650's on a 6' chain w/drag hidden under the double dirt hole. Curiosity/food lure in one hole and bobcat gland lure in the other, and a little bobcat urine on the bone.

A coyote foot will work also at the right time of year.

Matt there is a guy on here who goes by the name Tejas. He has a super cool set where he used a deer bone and a fresh deer bait. I think I out it in this thread earlier in the year. It's called the drive through set. Pretty neat. He slays the yotes down in South Texas on a game ranch.

I converted to a double dirt hole. Different than Ken's. Works even better if you make it a step down. Trap in between the holes. If you stuff a coyote foot down one hole so it's about 3-4" below the hole lip and put some gland lure on the foot it usually will have a yote in it if one walks by.
