With the depressed fur markets, I am considering a full length fur coat for the lady of the house. I can find all kinds of ranched fur coats, both fox and mink. Wondering where a fella might find some wild fur options in mink, muskrat, bobcat, maybe even coon? Any websites that you folks know of?

I googled "bobcat fur coats" and Came up with

Lots of pictures, links, etc. more options that you probably need.

Be sure to consult with a proffesional furrier when picking the species for the coat. A fluffy fur coat on some women just doesn't look right.

I forget the brand but it was in Macy's and the label was clearly labeled ranched "xxxxxx" or wild caught "xxxxxx" fur

Is there a Macy's at the mall in St.Cloud? If there is see if they sell Fur coats. I was at the Macy's in the Eden Prairie last year when my girlfriend was looking for a dress for her son's wedding. Looked over and there was the fur department. Wandered in and was looking at some of the coats and jackets. Lady asked me if she could help me and I said "just looking at the end product". I told her that I produce some of the raw materials for the garments. She asked if I was a fur rancher or a trapper. Told her I was a trapper. She welcomed me into that store like I was a long lost relative. Was in there almost an hour. She had as many questions about trapping and the fur markets as I had about the garments. Was a nice experience and interesting conversation.

Trapperkeck, here are a couple links you might want to consider.

Fur arts- http://www.furarts.com/trapper.html

USA FOXX & FURS- https://www.usafoxx.com/

Check with forum member Wolfwoman. She can make some items with your tanned fur.

Thanks, I did look over the Macy's website. If it helps, she is 5'6 and a size 4. She wants something warm, preferably, with a hood. I think she would look best in a short furred coat. How long could one be comfortable at -25 in a full length mink coat. She has a 2 block walk from her car to work.

Oh, I will see if the St. Cloud Macy's has some fur she can try on and check out some of the other sources y'all were kind enough to provide. Thanks!

Another place you might want to look at is antique shops. Out here almost every antique shop I've been in has fur coats hats capes etc... usually I see them priced around $100. Mainly mink but have seen artic fox coat too that was $150.
