I was going to try dyeing some traps with speed dip this year. I am not sure how far one jug of speed dip goes. I have 30 dogproofs, 12 #2's, 12 110's, and 12 330's to dye and didn't know if one quart would be enough. I would also like to know opinions on speed dip as opposed to other dyes.

Speed dip Isn't a dye. It's a coating that covers the trap It doesn't soak Into the steel like dye. I hate speed dip.

If It were me I'd just paint all the traps. I dip all my water traps In Latex paint. I dilute It 2 to 1 2gallons of water to one gallon of paint. It works for me.
