I have a lot of extra wire. just wondering if it has any trapping application or anyone ever used it in any way. maybe it could be used to hold bird carcasses (legal here) while pinned in the ground? thoughts, or should i toss in the trash?

A square of chicken wire add rocks and fold over and wire closed and used for a drowning weight.

Prefer the cubby tunnel for cats. Trap at ea end and cat can see thru. Caught a fisher or two in these set ups.

I use chicken wire lying flat on the ground to keep stray housecats out of my wife's flower beds. Housecats won't walk on it. I have not tried that with bobcats.

Chicken wire has multiple uses on the trap line! I've even saw rat floats made from chicken wire and float noodles! It also makes good blocking for otter and beaver traps similar to duniers system only lighter. Id think if a guy was creative he could make colony traps with it.

good on cubbies so the critters can see all the way through but only enter on one side.
