I went grouse hunting today and picked up 3 of the foil type balloons. I seem to find several every year. I don't live in a well populated area and I was way back in the woods today so I am wondering how many are lost every year and is this happening everywhere or just in northern Idaho?

A gift from Cali riding the air currents? LOL During WWII Japan sent those hot air kite bombs to the US using the airstream.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I live in the middle of nowhere. 3/4 mile long driveway, over a mile to the nearest neighbor, as the crow flies. Several years ago, my redbone coon hound pup started baying treed in the yard, lol. Ran outside, rifle in hand, to find her baying a mylar balloon tangled in the top of one of the trees in the woods line, lol.
