Who makes good loaded snares? Looking for a canine snare both fox and coyote. No deer stop, 1x19 with a swivel on the end, prefer 5/64".

Do it yourself, it's very easy. To load the snare, grab the lock with your left hand and about 7 -8 inches of cable with your right hand. Run this portion of cable, in its natural wire curve, several times over a small round rod or screwdriver that has been clamped in a vise. Do not apply to much pressure on 7X7 cable or the snare will become kinked or twisted. The 1X19 cable will take a lot more pressure but you still need to be careful. Practice will teach you how much pressure is needed to provide either cable with a round loop that will close quickly when little pressure is applied to the bottom of the loop.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Do it yourself just prior to setting your snare. This can be accomplished in the field with a pair of pliers or anything solid by rubbing the object, along the underside of the cable, from the lock out about 7-8 inches along the natural lay of the cable.

Call Rally at 218-697-8113.

Tell Him exactly what you want and It's done.
Never worked with Newt but I'm sure he would work with you.

10 -4 buddy. It would have been a blast.

I know for sure the old body couldn't take those Mississippi and Carolina swamps anymore.
New knees scheduled for some time In Feb. Then maybe I might consider It. I sure miss the south.

Stay dry.

Can't go wrong with Newt (PM him above) or Rally. I myself use RoadRunner Snares these days.

All three are great to deal with! I have dealt with them all, and probably will again in the future.

JD is the owner of RoadRunner Snares --- https://trapperman.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/users/1386/JD_Rogge

You could PM Rally here too... https://trapperman.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/users/11114/Rally

If you want all of the snares EXACTLY the same from one to the next, and loaded correctly, I would contact Newt. When I receive an order from him, its like Christmas. I don't have to wonder who made them, or what the quality will be this time.
I don't know about the other guys mentioned above. I'll bet they have a fine product, but I have no reason to look elsewhere other than Newt.

Newt and Rally both have good equipment and can build to suit special needs. I always give Newt a call when I do not have time to put them together on short notice.
