Reading Ducksticks post about the "no V" pan Victors got me wondering about this pan stamp. Might just be me but I haven't seen but a couple of these. Any info much appreciated......Dale

Not common. And definitely an older Trap.

Oneida, NY. Not Oneida Community, NY. Also notice the pan post. Very nice pan for its age.

I'm sure snakecollector or some one will provide more info on how old the Trap is and the dates made.

Dale, The Oneida,NY pan stamp on Victor traps came right after the Kenwood, NY pan stamp. And,right before the Oneida Community, NY, with no patent dates pan stamp. Only used for a short time right around 1900.

Again, your knowledge amazes me snakecollector. I appreciate the information.

I walked away from this trap at a garage sale. Thought the price was a bit spendy for a grimy old VICTOR. Couldn't get it off my mind and went back later that day and bought it. Cleaned up way better than expected.

I know a former collector that had a full set of those from 0 to 4.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Just between me and you, I dished out 25 big ones. But don't say a thing because I think the moderator on here wants it! wink

Ba Humbug! Not much reason to come on here anymore other than to see what kind of goodies you have been finding.
