Finally got enough honey to sell, was wondering what you all sold per pint, quart, ect.?

I saw some local honey for sale here 5# for $25.

When I selling up to a few yrs.ago I was charging $6 a pd,$18 a quart.I didn't offer a break for buy
in bulk because I figured I was selling cheap enough.Even at these prices I had a
fair amount of complaining they could get it cheaper at Walmart.

I sold some the other day for 8 a pound but will sell in bulk for 5 a pound.

10/lb sold in 12 and 24 ounce jars. 12oz water (generic jar measure) equals 16oz honey.

15 dollars a quart jar.

afore the hive bettles killed most of my bees i was selling quarts for 14 bucks.

Iv been paying 6.00 a pint for fresh Honey..

$10 for pints and $20 for quarts. I always sell out fast. When the sign is up usually $200 to $300 a day so I don't reduce the price for larger quantities.

$10 per pound or $6 half pound

Quarts....$16 (3 lb). 12 oz bottle....$5 Comb honey...$14 lb. Most of my customers buy quarts. I don’t sell bulk or wholesale.

I’ve had people tell me I’m selling too cheap.....had people tell me I’m to expensive. These are about the average prices in the area for local honey.

Rural King sells 5 lb bottles for $16. ( they were $15 till last month ). Not that their honey is the same as locally produced, but it does limit pricing. I keep a bottle of it here at the house if folks want to do a taste comparison.

Dollar Store sells honey cheap too. Same thing as Rural King stuff, about the same pricing.

Once you get a customer base, they’ll appreciate a quality product and will be back.

The guy I "rent" out to sells only by the gallon. $50.00

He also sells the wax @ $6.00/lb.

In the local facebooks groups, the range seems to be $6-10/pound here. Always makes me consider bottling a selling but told myself I'd never do it again eventhough thats $4-8/pound more than I get.
