Linda is out of surgery and doing great Great to hear. God is good. My wife had a new hip installed October 20th of last year. She was an outpatient at a local surgical center. The surgeon said it was about a 50 minute procedure with a robotic arm. I dropped her off at 8:30AM. Prep time was about 2 hours. Surgery was around 10:30AM. She was in recovery about an hour. I took her home at 4:00PM. She never took the Vicodin they prescribed for her; just over the counter ibuprofen. The incision was sore a few days. Now, all you can see is a hairline scar. They say a knee replacement is much harder to recover from. I've heard and seen horror stories on knee replacement. Remember as a kid we played army and you gave up the fort so the other side got it? Of course you don't. Little kids aren't that stupid.
