I have several gallons of trout paste I want to use for a draw station. Any ideas what I could add to it to make it more effective?

scheide, seriously, trout paste, as you know, is just fine by itself, depends on what process you used in obtaining the trout paste, possibly adding course ground trout flesh per ratio of good trout paste, in different stages, stir it up good, you'll catch Coon Mink Fisher Marten Coyote Fox (Red or Grey) wolverine Wolves.
Trout is almost the best type fish to use, that Fish has a high Oil in it's make up, 100+ year old recipes throughout history has been written and made.

I think you already know this! smile

I am not sure if you are referring to ground whole trout or >

If you are referring to the cream that rises to the top many times when making Trout oil it is excellent material for just about everything. It holds very good attraction to most all wildlife I have found. I have been using the residual that I get every year for draw stations.

I use a 3-4" auger and drill down as far as I feel is needed for the volume of the material that I want to pour into the hole. It makes a fine small draw station. You will get lots of visits once it is found and it will get dug out. I have drilled into old stumps, hay bales and into the bases of dead trees when I find them positioned in good spots. I use larger paddle bits for the tree drilling obviously.

Bob, Any way you want the flesh ground, with No Guts though!
It will increase the value of good sun-rendered trout oil. smile
