How much time elapsed between when they were fleshed and when the pic was taken? Even blue hides will look like that right after fleshing. Take another pic when they're dry and post it up.

I thought about pointing this same thing out on another thread on a similar demonstration of a prime pelt. However, being called a negative nancy once a year is my limit.

Negative Nancy chiming in - good looking skunk. Nice job of fleshing and stretching the tail. As a person that buys for the tourist trade, the tail is one of the most important parts on a skunk pelt wall hanger.

scratchback marks are harder on it then primeness.definately slatey at worst so wont be long for ya.
