It's the time of year when I need extra energy. I don't know how to make it, so, this is the best you can buy.
2 sheets a day till May and I'll be as healthy as a horse.

Well...yer from Kansas, of course you haven't heard of it. How'd you hear about lutefisk ? lol. laugh

Osky, I will eat Lutefisk, because it's polite to eat what is served in front of you . I'm not partial to it though.

I'm Swede on both side! Lutefisk, potato sausage, osticaca (or how ever u spell it) with lingen berries, every Christmas and Thanksgiving. Little town called Lindsborg 15 miles North of where I grew up is know as little Sweden. Grampa could still speak swedish.

Yes, I remember a few old fellas when I grew up for whom Swedish or Norwegian was their first language, and you could tell it too.

I have a lot of Scandanavian in me, and still... I won't give Lutefisk a chance, though I LOVE good Lefse!
Fortunately one of the only businesses within 150 miles from here is this one: https://www.lefseshack.com/
Real butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon rolled up and warmed on the old wood stove a bit..... Oh ya!

Not many things I miss about back home, but lutefisk and lefse are are a couple. Good stuff. It’ll keep your head square too.

I've never had lefse. is it like a tortilla? Could wrap up some pickled herring, cottage cheese and pickled beets and made a white man's burrito.

Lutefisk
It is said that about half the Norwegians who immigrated to America came in order to escape the hated lutefisk and the other half came to spread the gospel of lutefisk’s wonderfulness.

Les, that stuff ain't too bad, a guy can make a taco shell with one. There is nothing "normal" about lutefisk.
