Hello,
What parts of the body should I save from coyotes, bobcats, grey foxes, coons, & skunks? I know about the glands on the hind legs but what else?
Thanks,
AuthorTrapper.

(PS: www.kaatzbroslures.com are buying animal glands, carcasses, and skunk essence this year!)

I get the neck/shoulder area, behind the back legs, anal (w/5" intestine attached), and sex. Some want gall from certain critters, and some want empty urine sacs. Best to call interested buyer and see how and what they want. Different users prefer different things.

I trap for fun. I skin 'em for the money!

Check page 2 of the Lure Bait and urine Archives and you will find several good archived threads on the subject.

Almost all of the trapping catalogs you get have ads listing that they are buying glands and skunk essence. Most of the bait and lure makers are looking for certain glands that are well taken care of. Ask ahead of time what they want.

Kaatz sells a video that shows how/where to find all the commercial glands.
