Will dyeing & waxing take the smell out? If I dyed it with the rest of my traps would it scent the other traps too? AuthorTrapper. I don't think the dye you buy at trapping supplier has enough tannic acid to neutralize the smell. Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.
