I was just loading my boat In the back of the truck when I heard this screaming for help. It was a women's voice so The beav went to help the damsel In distress.

Well The next door lady had locked herself In her chicken coop LOl She sad she had been In there for over an hour.
So all of you chicken coop owners make sure you can get out of your coop when the door locks up.

Must be the day for rescueing ladies in distress!

I went to the post office this morning and a gal was in there wanting to use their phone because she locked her keys in her car. I ran her home so she could get her spare so she didn't have to call her husband off the mountain from his deer hunt.

The windows in my coop were sliders that I could easily step through if needed....however, my door latch doesnt lock when closed, unless I put a padlock on it.

My dear wife did the same thing! She was only in there for a few minutes before I heard her, I laughed so hard at her I was basically locked in the dog house after that!

Beav, you sweetheart! That was a good thing that you heard her! She must have been about panicked after an hour! That's great that you were there at the right time.

I like to visit the girls and also do work in the coop, but our door can't lock itself from the outside. The door on the run can latch on the outside if it swings shut but I attached a loop of heavy braided musky line so I can pull it up and undo the latch if I get locked in!
