I have a badlands winch that had a small remote to control the cable direction. The remote quit working so I want to add a hand control and need help with the wiring. How do I bypass the old remote? Thanks

have to know how many wires are involved. Color would help but not necessary.

Should be 3 wires. Probably 4 on the board. 1 of the wires not needed anymore would be the antenna wire. 1 common hot wire, 1 wire that controls the out function and 1 wire that controls the in function.

It was easy to do. I did one using some instructions I think I found here on the Forum. I just tore it apart last year when I switched to the 120 volt hoist. Wish I would have taken some pictures.
