My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim. I had to stop for the night.

I sure wish Gary Larson hadn't retired.
I was working at our trappers association booth at the Washington State fair many years ago. I was talking to an older couple about trapping and other stuff. At one point in the conversation the woman said to me; "you think just like our son", I made some sort of comment like; "is his sense of humor as warped as mine?" She said, "our son is Gary Larson". That was one of the best compliments I've ever had. Gary Larson and The Far Side was the best, loved it and still miss it. I have a couple of my favorite cartoons of his on my desk still to this day.
