That will sure be true to the human nose-- but it will not be to the animal nose. Just think about how dogs can separate drug smells inside gas tanks.Animals can detect other smells from even the strongest odor ,like a dog getting sprayed right in the face by a skunk, and a couple of minutes later it will be trailing a coon. I've had this happen many times when coon hunting. That strong skunk smell does not stop a dog or hinder it in any way from scenting a coon or any thing else.So it is pretty obvious a human nose can only pick up one powerful odor but that is not so with animals. Most lure makers don't seem to understand this either, but this is one of the very basics a lure maker should grasp when starting out making trap lures.Human noses, and the odors they can detect are completely different from animal noses, and the odors they can detect.
