Better then a Havalon for skinning if you drop the Wiebe the handle won't chip/break just pick it up and keep going!

Have both. Havalon when I'm out, Wiebe in my shop (prefer a fixed blade for safe use, but harder to transport).

I use mine all the time. From mink to making cuts on big game. If your stingy you can hit the replacement blade on a steel for prolonged use. Well worth the money!

The weibke itself is very stout but the blades are not, but there throw away and cheap enough
It doesn't matter.

The. Boss Dog is a great knife. If your looking at carrying one get one of the folding ones. ie. Artic Fox, Red Fox or the Vixen
