I have a pile of 1/2 inch rebar that is pre cut with a bend at top for convenient handle to push in bottom and weld washer for T bar in the bend. All that’s required is to slide on the lock and a nut near the bottom. Boy I wish whoever took them to the scrapyard made them a little longer. Does anyone use them this short for beaver just off in deeper water? No problem I think for coon.

I have a few I use of that size for spots where it gets deep enough quick.
