I’ve cleaned few Beavers and have kept the castors for Martin/Fisher in the UP. Any suggestions to the best thing to do with them for use?

I've been told once you get them out hang then on a wire or cord for a day then flip them over on the other side for a day and then bag them ( zip lock) and put them in the freezer. You don't want to let them completely dry out before you bag them.

Word of caution they mold easily! I keep mine in a paper sac in the freezer to stop mold. After they have dried of coarse! Dry till they are the flexibility of a thick piece of leather

Grind the castors up into a paste and add some glycerin or glycol and a drop or two of skunk essence.

Most want them to dry for 4 or 5 days then put into a bag and then into the freezer. I don't think it matters to much if you're going to be using them for your own purposes. I let mine dry for a day or two then into a freezer bag and then freeze them until I'm ready to use them.
