Well, had another card hacked with two fraudulent charges made on it yesterday. I have two different accounts at two different banks, along with a credit card. They were all compromised within the last month. I think someone used a skimming device and stole my information for all three cards at the same time. They then sold the information to a third party who reproduced cards. The first one was used in Ontario, Canada and the one yesterday was used in Omaha, NE. My credit card that was hacked, Discover denied the transaction because it appeared "fishy". The lesson I learned, if one card is hacked, cancel all of your cards and start over.

That sucks. Had that happen 3 times so far, but only on debit cards. I would not like going back to cash only, but that is an option. I hope you get it taken care of without a loss. Good luck

So far, I am only out the time and aggravation of the whole thing. Just thought I would post this for the benefit of everyone as a reminder to monitor your accounts regularly.

My bank calls if we have a out of state charge. We let them know when we travel

Reason I don't have nor ever will have a debit card. Credit cards are easier and faster at the gas pump. Just write a check and pay it off every month. Theives don't have ability to any accounts in your name. PLUS ALL charges can be disputed .......

My banks hate that I refuse to get a debit card, I do checks the old fashioned way, that way I have a paper trail. Too much at risk using debit cards, the only thing I have in plastic is two VISA credit cards.

I'm with waggler. Don't have a debit card, and still write checks.
