Don't know any one trapping that area. I think it would be a wonderful place to go.

Team V if you are going to trap in Fort Yukon say Hi to my buddy Wilfred Jack Kendi. If you need a partner let me know I'm treaty Gwich'in Indian so should be OK . That's Gwich'in land. Plus we have Porcupine Caribou rights. So all the better.

I think you might get away with shooting 'rats out of Fort Yukon during the spring, but I don't think the welcome wagon would show up if you planned on trapping around there during the winter.

I merely pass through F.Y. on occasion, I know one trapper there who traps around town and does well on lynx (at least he was a couple of years ago). But don't even think about it. Maybe you could do the spring muskrat thing just for fun and see if you make friends with anybody which might eventually lead to something else.

Stay right near the border probably too far from town no one will bother yo. But when you do go to town say hi to my buddy Wilbert Jack Kendi.
