I've got a few spots this year that I'd like to use slide cables on coyotes. Can I use the 3/32 I have or do I have to get some 1/8?

3/32 will work if its what you got use it. You can upgrade to 1/8 at a later date if you want to continue using the slides. The 3/32 will kink up and nt last as long. If you're buying the cable start with 7x19 1/8" from the start.

Once you start using 7x19 cable for sliders and extensions, you aren’t going to want to go back to 7x7.
Regardless of which type you use, keep it taut. As taut as you can possibly get it. I prefer using possumskinner’s adjustable cable setup with cam locks I agree with the cam lock setup. Much easier to adjust after a catch so you don’t have to mess with your deep end anchor all the time.

I've slid quite a few into ditches out if sight with 3/32" because I had a bunch of it. Works just fine. I just used the end hole on a swivel as slide lock. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

snareone' dakotaline snareshop mtp schmitts cumberlands sterling fur etc etc etc don't you have 6-8 catalogs to look in?,,,,,,,,i thought FREE catalogs were required of all trappers, to have info handy on their desks!

Many of the trapping supply companies don’t carry 7x19 1/8” cable . I did notice that Snareone and Snareshop have it, though. World of difference in prices between the two.
