Just my son and me. These are his words and very Proud to spend Veterans Day with him out hunting the Rock Donkeys.
Our Montana Muley hunt was one for the books! The old man had to show me how it was done per usual! We were picky the first couple of days on the bucks we turned up but ended up not wanting to eat tag soup and harvested a couple healthy bucks the last two days of our hunt. We put on the pack frames in the high country and found me a buck that had us put just under 10 miles on our feet to get him out...Dad on the other hand had shot his deer to where it was an easy drag out! They may not be wall hanger monsters we initially where after but they are still trophies to us and meat in the freezer. I can’t imagine doing this with anyone else but with my best friend and old man Shannon Cohrs. Love ya pops! Glad we got our hands bloody! [Linked Image]

WoW, good job!! Very few deer hunters would dedicate themselves to a 10 mile recovery. A well rounded trip!!

Awesome man. What part of Montana were you hunting? Looks like my area, in the breaks along the Missouri or Yellowstone

Way to go, guys! Awesome hunt.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!
