Well I’ve read on here that urine which has sat for awhile and smells like ammonia can fixed by leaving the cap off for a day or two.
Well I’m pretty sure that’s fake news. I go one bottle of F&T Bobcat and one bottle of Fox urine from Johnny Thorpe. Both have sat for almost a week with the cap off and I cannot smell a difference. Still smells like ammonia.

That ammonia odor will dissipate once applied to the open air of a set. I have never seen any evidence that it compromises a catch .

Like Asa said, there is nothing to worry about with that smell, so use it.
When it smells like sewage, THEN, there is a problem.

I did use some of the bobcat urine earlier in the season and it attracted a lot of deer attention.

Due to the salt content of all urine it is an attraction to deer.
