From last year because I haven’t been yet this year and just learned how to post pics. Went in in the fall and worked on line camp. 8x8 line cabin

Is that built on top of the frost or did you have to dig some deep footings?

Might be the pic but the cat looks to formed on too wide of a board.

Thanks for looking and for the comments folks. Boco-the cat was done on a 2 piece board and he was a wide one 14” x 44”NTB. Very nice mid Dec fur had tanned and sold it with the skull (cleaned) for a very good price. Drying fur in the cabin can be challenging. Very low humidity and hard to regulate temps. End up having to fold back edges etc to get it dry.

That is a nice bunch of marten. Hope the population is still up once I get back to trapping. Was that line cabin already there? Wood looks pretty old. Which way from the main cabin is the line cabin? Seems like I saw some facebook pics of your place posted by a buddy who was out there with you? Had your snogo suspended pretty high off the ground. Impressive.
Worked on my cabin this past sept. Needs a little more work and it will be ready for 2020!!
Are you going out this year?

MT, sounds like you have a plan that’s coming together ! Line cabin is upriver and only about 4 years old green treated plywood and now a metal roof with scrounged tin . It’s where the original tent frame was. Buddy came out 2 years ago-only visitor ever . I guess he put a few pics on FB. Talked to Andy G last night and hopefully get out in 2 weeks
