Gross I say yes, and I'm a believer in gross measurements without deductions. That is a great deer and IMO doesn't matter if he makes 200 or not. Congratulations on a deer most will never have a shot at. Was it a rifle kill or bow?

Do yourself a favor. Don't even measure it. I wouldn't even have it mounted. I had a dandy of a lifetime mounted and I now miss being able hold the rack in my hands. Its pretty cool to have the rack on the ground and be able to put your hands on it with out bending your knees. In your case, it would be awesome to be able to show how much your arms hurt from holding it in your hands for very long.
Regardless of what you decide to do with it, everyone who sees it is going to let loose an "expletive deleted" when they comment on it.

Holy crap! You just got yourself a super dandy. I am more of an admirer of a great looking deer rather than focusing on the numbers but with that being said he should at least gross around that 200 mark. Lots of measurements to take on that bad boy.Love the mass! Congratulations!

I'm not really seeing 200", but the pic angles make it hard to see everything. Doesn't really matter, it's a deer of a lifetime for anyone.

I sure hope we get to find out what it grossed and this isn't one of those post where everyone just wonders and never hears the rest of the story
The story I got on this is 172 gross. I went and see him with own eyes and guessed 150 to 160, so if that one went 170 gross then Andy's will do 200.

He's got great mass and should have some scary good circumference measurements in addition to the 4 non-typical points. (Split brows, sticker, and double point from a common base.)

His main beams look really long to me. What were the lengths on those main beams. 28", 29", 30" Inches ?

How long are his longest G-2's, G-3's ?

Don't think he'll go 200" inches net though. Gross Maybe.

I'd say he's a shoo-in for mid 180's.

In any case, It's the buck of a lifetime for most people.

Sorry but not much of a story.

Last year as a four year old I guessed him at 165". Based on his make up figured someday he might have a chance to hit the magical 200 mark.

Assumed it would take him two more seasons and what are the odds of him making it one more let alone two.

Mid August this summer guessed him to be 203" and decided it was him or tag soup.

Picked two stand locations where I thought I might get him killed.

Waited for the right conditions.

Bow hunted the spot I liked best but didn't like the way the deer moved thru. Decided I would spend the rest of season hunting the other location.

Gun season opened and an hour or so into the second sit he walked out, bang and he fell over.

Had him measured last night; gross score 202.

Weird feeling, probably more sad than happy.

Nice buck, good for you. For a hundred dollars you could have had some beetles clean that skull, IMO they look great with the lower jaw.
