I spotted this buck bed down with a doe and a small buck at around 930 this morning. I made about a mile long fish hook sneak. The sneak resulted in me getting to with 60-80 yards of the rock pile he was bedded along. The smaller buck jumped up and trotted over and this guy stood up with his head and neck sticking out of the weeds. One shot from the 300 mag right under the throat dropped him where he stood. Just a beautiful tall 4x4 topped off with a beautiful stalk.

Beautiful buck, great job.
According to another thread on here I think you goofed up and did that dumb old stalk thing instead of just shooting from 12.7 miles away. Must be a Canadian thing.

Great buck and good stalk.....love those Saskatchewan bucks.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!
