If you have any Muskrat trapping tips feel free to chime in on the conversation, I wanted to share this idea an older gentleman showed me for bottom edge setting on muskrat and mink. He took a brick and drilled on a conibear bracket, then cables it in the hole of a brick( if no hole drill one). I just used a heavy trappers wire, I haven’t tried these out yet but I thought this was a great idea and needed to be shared. Thanks!

I wonder if you need to dig a little hole for the brick to set in so your trap is on the bottom of the crick?

This is good for trapping creeks, streams, and ditches were they undercut the bank. Just place it underneath and next to the bank. Should work well.
