I really like my Bridger dogless #3 os traps. They haven't failed or disappointed me yet. I have looked at The other mentioned traps at the Montana convention for the past two years. Well built but too heavy for my liking. I still pack a lot of traps by foot power into the high buttes. I don't need the extra weight unless it is more traps.

I picked up some Sterling 600s. I'm getting rid of all my other yote traps and getting more. For trapping in Saskatchewan it's the best that I've used. If you remind me I'll throw one in the truck and bring one to humbolt. Pic of the trap What type of sets do you usually run? What sort of success are you having with how many traps?

that sterling is without a doubt a fine trap. I don't think it will catch more coyotes though than some other fine traps

I like Jake’s, but the other traps mentioned are all great yote traps

the big plus to sterlings is the cast jaws and both jaws locking down. makes them bed easy. mb 650 c same thing. a lot of nonsense about the 650 having a dead spot on the pan. true kind of. the 650 has a bigger pan than the sterling. with the sterling though a screen pan cover works far better than it will on a 650. if you want both jaws locked down and are going to use screen the sterling is a better choice than a 650. if your not using screen you wont see a difference. I think screen is a royal pain and it doesn't increase my catch at all. different trapping methods will determine what your best choice is.

saskbone - would that be calcium chloride flakes or pellets? Do you use a lot of urine to mask the smell of the CC?
