Is this considered mange or some sort of canine in heat thing on a male fox? Should it have been cut out or ok as is. I caught 1 other, which I did remove.

I believe that's from lice. And the pink is from licking said crotch lice

Ya, It isn't the normal manage I'm use to seeing, just more curious if I should cut it out after drying the hide?

Most of it will come out with peroxide and oxyi clean. A little goes a long way
