Every year after deer season, I take all of the left over venison and grind it for sausage. I always have some freezer burnt parts and other unwanted pieces. This year I ground it up and put it in gallon bait jars and then froze it. In the spring, I will take it out to age a bit and add bait solution. Will this make good fox/coyote bait?

Yep, mine is not ground but in chunk form. Can’t help myself but I add a few other ingredients too. The grind and solution will do just fine though.

On theory yes, but nobody can be for sure how well it will do for you. I would go out and test for a while and see what kind of reaction you get in regards to digging or whatever you're looking for the bait to do for you. If you decide to add things, some think that one extra ingredient will do the trick. Then you smell another ingredient and "oh yeah" that's the one. I say and type it often, don't base your final product off of your sense of smell, animals will determine what is good and what isn't. jmo
