Here we go. You also need to LOOK at when the colleges where formed. Hard to win a title when your university /football team hasn't been formed yet. How many of us remember the teams of the 1800"s or any before the late 1960's early 1970's
Plus the BIG ten was founded in 1896 . The SEC in1933. Guys didn't take advantage of that 37 year head start. LOL

From 1869 until 1933 ALL the champions where determined retroactive by a man Named Parke H Davis . GIVE you one guess where he went to school / worked at . Princeton. What conference does Princeton play in ? Plus look at the record of some of the early champs. 1 -0 , 1-0-1. LOL. One champ was determined because they scored the most points during season but lost more games to undefeated teams. So 61 years of champs was determined by a man who went to an Ivy league school
We think it is confusing now. Back then the poor, dumb, inbreed southern schools you think we are where not even looked at as participants of the college football championship if they even had teams.....

Look at the chart then add the play off championships . Ohio st won in 2014 Bama in 2015 ,2017 . If my math is right that's about 20 years.. But go on back don't matter
Bottom line is TODAY , YESTERDAY, TOMMOROW for the past 20 years SEC has dominated.

Don't forget the 1963 undefeated Bama team that was passed over for political reasons. Every honest sports analyst would agree that team was the best of the bunch nationally but due to segregation/civil rights/George Wallace the news wires passed them by.

The SEC has struggled under northern prejudice since the beginning. That's why the first Southern Conference national championship in 1926, won by Bama, was such a shocker nationally. It also laid the foundation for the mindset of the conference to become as dominant as they are.

Jughead, nobody is saying the Big10 is the greatest and better than the SEC, YOU for some reason feel the need to tell us how dominant the SEC is and I really don't think anyone cares??
